nockda is a social feed and second-hand marketplace for people who've moved to a new country and want to talk, trade and settle in with people who speak their language. We're starting in the UK.

A feed of short posts from people in the country you live in, written in the languages you choose. Pick every language you speak.
Trade
Buy and sell second-hand things in your city, and sort out the details in your own language. You meet up and pay each other directly.
Settle in
Ask the things only someone who has moved here can answer, from registering with a GP to finding a flat. Chats start from a listing or between people who follow each other, so strangers can't message you out of the blue.

What is nockda?
nockda is a social app and local marketplace for people living abroad. You see posts from people in the country you live in, in the languages you choose, and you can buy and sell second-hand things in your city.
When and where can I get it?
Soon. We're starting in the UK, on iPhone and Android.
Which languages can I use?
Choose every language you speak. There's no limit, and your feed shows posts in those languages from people in the country you live in.
Is it free?
Yes. The feed, marketplace and chat for the country you live in are free. An optional subscription, nockda Plus, lets you see one more country as well.
Do I have to use my real name?
No. You sign in with Apple or Google and pick a nickname, and that nickname is all other people see.
Who can join?
Anyone aged 17 or over.
